Can I power non-PoE device?
Some devices are powerd through the cable but not standard PoE devices, you can use a device called a "PoE splitter" or "PoE injection", "PoE adapter" that the manufacturer provides . The splitter performs the Powered Device (PD) function of separating the power and data and provides data and power separately to the non-PoE enabled device. For example, WiMax AP and 24V IP camera high power devices, you have to contact with Korenix and we will confirm if our JetPoE - Power over Ethernet Switch can displace the PoE injection.
