Comtrol DeviceMaster Software
You can use the links below to locate the latest software to install or configure your DecviceMaster:
Firmware
You may need to update the existing firmware or upload firmware to meet the requirements for your site
You must decide on the use of the DeviceMaster by uploading specific firmware:
- NS-Link Driver - Install the NS-Link driver on your PC’s platform, if you want to use the
DeviceMaster RTS ports as COM or tty ports. The driver automatically
installs the NS-Link firmware on the DeviceMaster RTS.
- Socket Server - It is loaded from the factory by default and is for use with applications that
support Winsock connections, for telnet type connections, and for Serial
Tunneling. If necessary, update Socket Server.
- Modbus Server - Use Modbus Server with applications that require remote Modbus/RTU
over Ethernet TCP/IP communications such as OPC servers. It provides
connectivity for up to 6 applications per serial port.
- Modbus TCP - The Modbus/TCP firmware is used on DeviceMaster UP to provide
connectivity to both serial and Ethernet TCP/IP raw/ASCII devices, and serial
Modbus RTU/ASCII devices on many PLCs, Scada/ HMIs, and OPC Servers over Modbus/TCP.
- Modbus Router - The Modbus Router application provides enhanced connectivity from Modbus masters including Modbus/TCP, Modbus RTU/ASCII serial, and Modbus RTU/ASCII over Ethernet TCP/IP to Modbus slaves including Modbus/TCP, and Modbus RTU/ASCII serial. Connectivity can be easily achieved between any master(s) and any slave(s) anywhere on an Ethernet network.
