DeviceMaster RTS 2-Port 1E and 2E

The DeviceMaster RTS 2-Port 1E and 2E are the newest models in Comtrol’s popular line of DeviceMaster serial device servers. These products can be used to network-enable two serial devices on any Ethernet network and are ideal for applications in:

• Traffic and transportation;
• Industrial automation;
• Material handling; or
• Any project that requires serial-to-Ethernet communication with DIN rail-based equipment installations.

The DeviceMaster RTS 2-Port includes DIN-rail mounting and screw terminal connections for convenient installation. It off ers both wide DC voltage ranges (5-30 volts) and wide operating
temperature ranges (-37º to 74º C), so it operates reliably in a variety of challenging physical environments.

The RTS is National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) TS2 compliant. And with 2 Ethernet ports on the 2E, you can daisy-chain or cascade devices together for a cleaner layout, a faster installation and a more cost-eff ective solution (no need for multiple Ethernet switches or star topology layouts).

The DeviceMaster RTS supports RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial communications at standard baud rates from 300 bps to 230 Kbps. The DeviceMaster RTS 2-Port 1E off ers a single RJ45 jack with a 10/100 Ethernet connection to the network, while the 2-Port 2E includes a network switch to provide two 10-100 Ethernet connections with an RJ45 jack. Both products accept 5-30 volts
DC through screw terminal connections, and a 90-264VAC power supply is also available.
