Korenix presents JetNet 5710G , the revolutionary 8+2G Gigabit Managed High Power PoE switch targeting the industrialized market of highly critical video surveillance. Compliant with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at PoE standards, all of its 8 ports are capable of supplying 15.4W and 30W power per port accordingly, and up to 200W per unit to enable the high-power requiring devices, such as Wireless APs, PTZ and dome network cameras, etc. By using different intelligent powering mechanisms, including the LLDP PoE classification, users can efficiently & dynamically drive the “power hungry” devices with just a simple JetNet 5710G configuration. They can as well benefit from its Smart Power Budget Limitation capability to perform priority control for limiting PD power budget, as a result ensuring reliable power delivery, and allowing users to protect high priority PDs from shut down caused by overloading of the power supply. |
To fit in applications requiring large megapixel video transmission, the JetNet 5710G is further designed with 2 additional uplink gigabit ports, which, using the MSR network redundancy technology, provide redundant and reliable high-speed uplink transmission to the central network. Besides the gigabit ports, the MSR applies to the standard PoE ports, allowing the switch to connect into rings with other MSR compatible devices and recover the system within 5ms, as a result providing continuous, high-quality video transmission without any critical image loss. For more flexibility, the switch also offers MSTP and RSTP protocols to provide redundancy in traditional network infrastructures or when used with 3rd party devices.
The JetNet 5710G outstands in the market by its advanced management, control and security features, such as the LLDP and JetView Pro Korenix patented network management software for automatic topology visualization and efficient network management as well as different protocols: DHCP option 82, QoS, VLAN, Private VLAN, IGMP snooping etc. for guaranteeing the real-time and high quality of the transmitted images.
With ruggedized design of vibration and shock resistance and the -40~70℃ operating temperature range, the JetNet 5710G ensures the high performance of the surveillance network with large number of PTZ cameras, high-end color touchscreen IP phones, multichannel and outdoor wireless APs and other high-power-consumption Ethernet devices.
