Korenix offers JetWave 2420 and JetWave 2420S industrial outdoor Wireless Access points compatible with IEEE802.11b/g standard and capable of providing up to 54Mbps high-speed, secure wireless communication using 2.4GHz direct sequence technology.
Users can benefit from the high output power to extend the wireless data coverage from 5KM up to 10KM while linking two or more separate networks to create a single LAN network more efficiently. With its high speed capability, 5~10KM wireless coverage and industrialized IP67 design, the JetWave 2420 series provide stable wireless connection with reduced roaming, and thus are a perfect choice for industrial applications such as utility and factory automation systems, remote video applications, etc.

The JetWave 2420 is a perfect solution for Point to Point application with a built-in 15dBi flat panel antenna, whereas the JetWave 2420S model is designed with N-Type socket which allows attaching directional and omni-directional antennas for more flexible wireless data transmission.
To provide flexible connectivity in various industrial applications, JetWave 2420 series support Access Point, Client, WDS Bridge Modes, which includes Point to Point and Point to Multiple Point implementations. For enhancing the performance of the transmitted data, the new Wireless APs provide SSID with VLAN tagging for a more user-friendly network management, as well as QoS for prioritizing data transmission.
Featuring WEP and robust WPA, WPA2 security and the MAC address filtering, the JetWave 2420 series let users share information on wireless internet connection with the highest level of protection.
Last but not least, the JetWave 2420 has a IP67 grade protection housing for installations under severe conditions of outdoor areas. Additionally, the new Wireless APs have an extended operating temperature of -20 to +70oC and may be powered from 48VDC PoE sources, such as Korenix JetPoE series High-Power PoE solutions, thus becoming suitable models for extending data in an unwired mode to harsh outdoor environments.
