Korenix launches a new 5-port full gigabit switch with ruggedized housing in its series of Plug & Play switches, which is a perfect solution for surveillance applications requiring large video image transmission. The 5 10/100/1000T Full Gigabit ports of the JetNet 3005G support up to 9.6Kbytes Jumbo frame, broadcast storm filtering and QoS, allowing users to have an enhanced performance video streaming without image loss and fragmentation. The Plug & Play design and the fault relay alarm function for auto notifications make the switch a user friendly device, easy to implement in industrial on-site applications. |
For users’ convenience and system flexibility, the 5 ports of the switch can be used for transmitting high speed data through Gigabit copper cable, but equally can be used for 10/100TX copper transmission. With the supported broadcast storm filtering function you can protect the network from being overwhelmed by malicious or malfunction broadcast packets.
To ensure the higher quality of large megapixel video image transmission, the JetNet 3005G provides up to 9.6Kbytes Jumbo frame as well as QoS data prioritization, which ensure faster local transmission latency without the images being dropped or blocked.
With the dual 12~48VDC power inputs on interface, the switch can provide power backup in case any power break occurs in the system. Moreover, it is equipped with an alarm relay, which is to indicate fault conditions when a port link fails. Both functions are used to improve system reliability and efficient operation.
Last but not least, the JetNet 3005G is designed in IP31 grade enclosure and with -10~70oC operating temperature range, a guarantee that the device can withstand vibration and shock, becoming perfect solution for on-site surveillance installations in roadsides, railways, mines, public areas, transportation systems, etc.
