Korenix offers JetCon 2300 series Industrial Media Converters with outstanding hardware functions, up to 4 forwarding modes and exclusive 1 and 2 channel interface designs to perfectly match your specific application needs of speed, size and scalability. The converters with single-mode (JetCon 2301-s / 2302-s) and multi-mode (JetCon 2301-m / 2302-m) fiber optic ports are available for extending high-performance, non-stop data respectively to 2KM and 30KM distance.

The JetCon 2301 series are 1-port Fast Ethernet Copper to Fiber converters that surpass the competition through their unique design of supported multiple forwarding modes, which guarantee high-performance data transmission in extended applications. You can choose to configure the device in any of the 4 switching modes depending on your preferred transmission speed and size:
- Switching converter to support up to 148810 packets per second and maintain network efficiency by filtering abnormal packets
- Modify Cut-through to provide enhanced error checking while avoiding possible collisions
- Pure Converter to achieve extreme low data forwarding latency by converting signal between copper and fiber ports without packet check
- Converter with Auto-Change to enhance transmission by changing packet forwarding speeds.

Additionally, the JetCon 2301-s and JetCon 2301-m series provide Link Loss Forwarding function to alert remote or central management systems and thus, enable them easily and cost-effectively maintain the network.
For applications, where more connections are required, Korenix provides JetCon 2302, the exclusive 2-Channel Fiber Media Converter. With supported 2 Fast Ethernet copper and 2 fiber ports, the JetCon 2302 series can be used for flexible applications either as a 4-port Fast Ethernet Switch with 2 Fiber ports or a 2-channel 10/100 TX to 100 FX Fiber Converter. As a result, it can substitute a number of single function devices and thus, save your installation and maintenance costs. |

The EN 50121-4 railway EMC compliant JetCon 2301 and JetCon 2302 series with excellent Anti-Electromagnetic Interference capability, dual redundant DC10~60V power inputs, and -25~75oC op. temperature range resist severities and provide outstanding performance under harshest environments. JetCon 2301-w / 2302-w series with -40~75oC extended operating temperature range are also available for deploying in applications with wider temperature extremes.
Combining all these features into the compact design, the converters perform high system reliability and ensure non-stop transmission, becoming perfect solutions for intelligent transportation systems, railway tracksides, field site applications, etc.
