With the -40~85oC extended operating temperature range and fanless design, the rackmount managed switches exceed the standard requirements and provide reliable operation under toughest environmental conditions of railway and substation-like deployments. |
The JetNet 5628G series switches are designed with 4 on board gigabit combo ports and 3 modular slots, various combinations of which enable users to form up to 24 10/100M copper or up to 18 100M fiber plus 4 Gigabit Copper/Fiber connections. This allows users to have maximum flexibility and simple interface exchangeability for meeting various network connection needs while reducing the device units and costs.

As the switches support MSR network redundancy protocol, they are capable of forming up to 12 100Mbps plus 2 gigabit rings for redundant uplink connections. As a result, the network bandwidth can be increased and the system expanded through gigabit fiber and copper rings. Being able to seamlessly restore the network in case of link or port failure, the MSR further ensures non-stop data delivery in substations, traffic control systems, railways and other large-scale networks.
To meet the high-end management and security requirements of the IEC61850-3 & IEEE1613 substation standards, the JetNet 5628G series switches provide LLDP and JetView Pro efficient network management software in addition to 16K MAC table, 8 physical queues of QoS, 256 VLAN, IGMP Snooping, DHCP, LACP, and other advanced management and security features for delivering high quality and reliable network communication in complex networks.
Last but not least, the JetNet 5628G series support various power input types, including 85~264VAC, 88~370VDC and 24/48VDC for flexible use in field power constructions, thus becoming the most powerful, cost-effective and reliable solutions for large-scale power substation, traffic and railway automation.
