Korenix releases JetNet 4510 Industrial 10-port managed Fast Ethernet switch with the enhanced new firmware which features additional MSTP, Private VLAN, QinQ and LACP short timeout functions for building higher performance, flexible and secure industrial network infrastructures.

The integrated MSTP technology allows users to have a scalable redundant network, which is interoperable with commercial and industrial type non-ring supportable switches. To provide a more efficient network maintenance and enhanced security, the new firmware in addition to the VLAN overlapping also offers the Private VLAN and QinQ, therefore simplifying network assignment and solving the VLAN shortage problem in specific applications. Another firmware enhancement of the JetNet 4510 is the newly integrated advanced LACP with short timeout available in CLI, which allows users to have a much shorter recovery time in case the device unit is lost. |
JetNet 4510 is equipped with 10 Fast Ethernet ports, the last 3 ports of which are copper/SFP combo ports which allow more flexible distance connectivity. To maximize network performance and reliability, the switches, in addition to RSTP and MSTP, provide also Korenix patented MSR ring redundancy technology with just 5ms recovery time. The rugged JetNet 4510 series Fast Ethernet switches outstand from other similar devices with their advanced management features including VLAN, QoS, DHCP with option 82, optimized IGMP Query/Snooping etc. for ensuring the high quality and efficient traffic delivery in industrial networks.
The long list of outstanding management functionalities of JetNet 4510 is completed with the LLDP and the optional Korenix patented JetView Pro NMS, allowing users to automatically visualize device topology in large scale industrial networks, and thus provide efficient network maintenance.
To guarantee reliable operation of the switch in applications with extreme variable temperature requirements, Korenix offers JetNet 4510 with -20~70oC and JetNet 4510-w with -40~70oC wide operating temperature ranges. The new enhanced firmware functionalities integrated in the Fast Ethernet switch with the ruggedized IP31 grade design allow a broader usage of Korenix JetNet 4510 industrial switches while providing enhanced quality data transmission for intelligent traffic control systems, public utilities, surveillance applications, etc.
