Korenix adds JetBox 9435-w, the industrial embedded layer3 router computer with 8 LAN ports into its wide range of embedded platforms for meeting users’ demand of industrial front-end control applications, where high port connectivity is necessary. Other than the LAN ports, the computer also provides WAN port as well as 8 DIO ports for digital device connection and 3 USB interfaces for embedded system expansion through wireless and cellular network connection. |
The new platforms further perform computing of peripheral devices through the built-in, performance-optimized Linux operating system, which allows easily manipulating network or device related settings through the user-friendly Web UI-Webmin. The JetBox 9435-w users can develop their own customized control applications via Korenix’s auto-run customization setting, which is stored on the embedded platform’s SD card, as a result providing a more flexible and easy network management of large industrial networks.
JetBox 9435-w supports complete Layer3 routing functionalities (OSPF, RIP, IPv6) as well, with which users can manage the extended network group information in an efficient and easier way. Additionally, with the supported VPN and DMVPN technologies, the new industrial embedded computer can be perfectly deployed for providing secure long-distance connection over WAN in dynamic networks. The new JetBox 9435-w also supports VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) which allows performing router redundancy and thus, ensuring network reliability. Moreover, by enabling the new Fastpath, the computer is capable of enhancing the routing performance of the network infrastructure through the hardware networking engine.
JetBox 9435-w high-port density embedded computers are designed with rugged parameters, such as fanless aluminum enclosure with IP31 protection, robust connectors, anti-vibration and shock resistance and -40~80oC wide operating temperature, ensuring outstanding operation under toughest conditions of industrial networks, such as intelligent transportation systems, mining and oil, substation and factory automation, etc…
