Korenix releases the new WES2009-EN software in its JetBox 8180 series Intel Atom-based communication computers for providing a more flexible and user-friendly system development in field site applications.
By upgrading the Windows XPe, the JetBox 8180’s new WES2009 version adapts latest Microsoft .Net framework 3.5 service pack1 to offer more flexibility and advanced API for programmers. Additionally, it upgrades the Windows media player to version 11 providing greater new ways for storing digital media as well as ensuring easier accessibility.
Embedded in JetBox 8180’s CompactFlash card or SATA Hard Drive, the new WES2009 OS is available in English; however, different default languages can be supportable in the device by customer request. Please contact Korenix Sales for detailed info. |
Korenix JetBox 8180 is an industrial communication PC with low power consumption which outstands among similar devices in the market by supporting DVI with optional dual display capability for easily distributing video in field site monitoring applications. In addition to RS-232/422/485 serial and four USB2.0 ports, the computer provides a gigabit interface for ensuring high bandwidth and high speed uplink connectivity in industrial networks.
To extend the connection and performance of the device, it is further designed with miniPCIe and SIM slots for mobile module expansion in applications where wireless connectivity is needed. Last but not least, the industrial grade capabilities, such as fanless and vibration proof design with wide operating temp make JetBox 8180 a stable and multi-functional solution for demanding requirements of industrial control system.
