Korenix Technology, the Asian major manufacturer for industrial data communication, has been acquired by the Swedish public company Beijer Electronics, a fast growing technology company with extensive experience of industrial automation and robust data communication.

Korenix Technology will continue its operations with existing organization and management team now as a part of the Beijer Electronics Group. With Westermo, Korenix will be part of the business area Industrial Data communication (IDC) and together offer a very strong product range to the world wide market.

Beijer Electronics' CEO, Fredrik Jönsson, comments on the acquisition:
"We see a tremendous potential in the cooperation between Westermo and Korenix. The respective product lines are complementary and there is a good fit geographically as well,” says Fredrik Jönsson, President and CEO of Beijer Electronics.
