High Port Density and Outstanding Performance
JetNet 5428G is designed with 24 100M and 4 Gigabit ports. The 4 gigabit combo ports allow users to trunk up to 8G uplink bandwidth and/or to form two independent gigabit rings. With dual gigabit rings, the JetNet 5428G can perform as an access-level switch in industrial environments ensuring the high bandwidth data transmission. Featuring wire speed forwarding capability and Jumbo frame, the gigabit traffic can be transmitted without any packet loss or collision making the JetNet 5428G a perfect solution for industrial control room applications.
Expanded and Reliable Networking
Besides the RSTP redundancy technology, JetNet 5428G also supports Korenix patented MSR redundant ring with less than 5ms failure recovery time and “zero” ms restoration time to deliver high quality data in a reliable, scalable industrial network. Featuring the MultiRing technology, it fits the flexible network applications allowing direct connection and aggregation of up to 12 100M rings and 2 Gigabit Rings into a single switch. As a result, the network bandwidth can be increased and the system expanded through gigabit fiber and copper rings.
