Korenix JetWave 2600 Series Extends the Wireless Coverage to More Than 40 km for Long-Range Wireless Network
JetWave 2600 Series, IP67 Industrial Wireless Outdoor Access Point, is an ideal solution to industrial networks seeking to extend wireless signal coverage. With the Intel TDMA technology, JetWave 2600 Series covers communication range to at least 40KM with high transmission performance.
The JetWave 2610 and JetWave 2620 implement 802.11a technology and use 5GHz band as the operating frequency. The JetWave 2640 adopts dual band 802.11a and 802.11g solutions. The operation mode of JetWave series supports base station (AP), CPE, Relay, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint modes. Comprehensive wireless security is implemented by WEP, WPA and WPA2.

JetWave 2600 series can be powered by PoE technology, such as Korenix industrial PoE switches – JetPoE and JetRock. For outdoor installation, JetWave 2600 series features IP67 protection with
-30 to 70°C operating temperature. With JetWave, JetPoE and JetRock, Korenix provides the total solution to where wired infrastructures can not be reached, such highways, railways, dams, mines, harbors, wind powers and so on.
TDMA Enlarges the Coverage and Performance

JetWave 2600 series supports different types of Wireless Multiple Access technologies, include CSMA and Intel TDMA. CSMA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access) is widely applied in most WLAN applications, however, its performance drop dramatically when the transmission distance increases. In addition to CSMA, Korenix implements Intel advanced TDMA technology for longer range wireless network without compromising the bandwidth, Users can choose CSMA or TDMA by the field requirement. With a default 23dbi panel antenna, the wireless extensibility can reach at least 40KM with guaranteed transmission quality.
